PetrolPuppy is a free, real-time fuel price comparison tool covering 10 countries across Australia, Europe, and the UK. We help drivers find the cheapest petrol, diesel, and LPG near them — right now.
How it works
PetrolPuppy connects directly to official government fuel price APIs and open data portals. Prices are refreshed every 30 minutes automatically. We never estimate or interpolate prices — every price shown is sourced directly from a government or authorised data provider.
Our technology stack runs on secure cloud infrastructure with automatic failover. When a data source is temporarily unavailable, we clearly mark prices as stale rather than removing them — so you always see the last known price, not a blank map.

Data accuracy
Prices reflect data reported to government agencies by service stations. In some countries (Australia, Germany, Austria) this is legally mandated and highly accurate. In others it may lag the forecourt price by up to a few hours. Always confirm the price at the pump before filling.

PetrolPuppy is free to use and supported by advertising. For users who prefer an ad-free experience, we offer a low-cost monthly subscription. Subscription revenue allows us to maintain the service and expand to new countries.
